Developer Dark_AleX has released an update to his Despertar del Cementerio "Universal Unbricker," adding the ability to fully regenerate the IDStorage. Meaning if the IDStorage on your PSP has been fully wiped out or contains corrupt keys you will be able to recover it.

Apart from this major addition in functionality, a format flash function has been added to the DC7 menu. As with previous releases, the unbricker can be used in conjunction with a Pandora battery to restore and install custom firmware 4.01 M33-2 on the PSP. Note that newer PSP models housing a TA-088 v3 motherboard are still unsupported.

Installation instructions can be found at the link below. If you already have a previous version of DC installed on your memory stick it is only necessary to copy the DC7 folder to PSP/GAME and launch the application from within the Game menu.

After a good few years of reliable service my xbox 360 has finally given up.
It survied 2 laser replacement's, and an x-clamp replacement, but now it's not RRODing, but it is freezing after an hour or so's playing games, it's also failing to display graphics properly.

not iPrep Related..
but good to know

FYI

Turorial:

1. unpack 79_unlock.rar
2. Burn the CD Image, I used ImgBurn....

3. Put 79 in Mode B (mit SLAX DVD)
3. Insert the CD in the 79 and play the track, wait for it to finish...
4. Then press play again and straight away pause it, you should hear some noise
5. Eject the disk, using the eject button not the PC ( it does something different)
6. Run the the command in a command window

Unlock79 X

// where X is the drive letter of the 79
// this will error regardless, ignore the error

7. If all went well bit 4 of (0x5BD) should be set and the drive should be unlocked
8. Drive will dump and flash with Toolbox...
9. This is a tempory unlock, (0x5BD) is in RAM and would need to be done each time you power the drive,
although I've posted how to by pass this with the drive unlocked with a passkey.....

10. Has not been extensively tested but worked on 6 drives to day so far...

One of the not-so-cosmetic changes in the fall update will be the ability to let you play your games directly from the hard disk. The new feature will let users install all of the game content directly onto the hard drive to improve game load times. Microsoft reports that it has seen a 30 percent improvement in load times in internal testing. As an interesting data point, Microsoft went out of its way to tell a group of reporters that the full Devil May Cry 4 hard disk installation took roughly 10 minutes on the Xbox 360. The installation took twice as long when we conducted our own installation tests on the PlayStation 3. Another side benefit of having games installed on the hard disk is reduced noise, since the optical disc no longer needs to spin up. However, you will still need to have the game disc in your optical drive while you're playing it, presumably as a piracy check.

We are delighted to announce the general availability of the first release candidate of our 1.0 version. Please note that this is a release candidate and not a final release, meaning that we need your feedback in order to fix issues and turn this into a final release as fast as possible.

We will post full release notes shortly, in the meantime in case you missed it, this release is all about user interface and usability, but it also includes many bug fixes and other minor and major improvements to the transcoding engine, media library, auto discovery by devices, and much more.

In order to simplify some of the initial configuration needed to get TVersity up and running for the first time, we are including in this release a configuration wizard that can do most of these tasks for you. This includes firewall setup, service auto-start setup, Vista setup issues and more.

The codec pack has been updated as well, for best transcoding results it is recommended to install it. Our transcoding engine can now for the first time download FLV and MP4 videos, convert them and stream them to devices all at the same time. We have had this capability for a while with WMV streams but other formats needed to be pre-downloaded - not anymore!
